magento create a shipping module

I wanted to create a new shipping method. So i followed the below steps:-
1. Register the module as below in app/etc/modules/Namespace_module.xml

2. Create the config.xml in app/local/Namespace/Module/etc/config.xml to set the default values

please note that you can replace “pravams” with whatever name you want for your module.

3. Create the admin system config fields in app/local/Namespace/Module/etc/system.xml
